I first heard about Materialise during my graduate studies in Portugal, and I thought it would be a great company to work for. It basically combined everything that I that interested me in the world of Biomedical Engineering: high-end manufacturing technology; innovative software solutions; medical, technical, and artistic know-how; and a multidisciplinary team. Once I graduated, I decided to apply for a job at Materialise, even though it would require moving abroad. When I got accepted, I had one week to go back to Portugal, pack my stuff, and then settle down in Belgium. 3 years later, I can say I have never regretted my decision! The company has a great atmosphere thanks to its young, creative, and multicultural personnel. The job is always motivating and I never stop being amazed of what we can achieve, both at the conceptual and technical level, within the multiple segments of the company’s portfolio.
